Sports has been my go to place in all my states of mind wether I am happy, sad or lost in the chaos. It has derived the best out of me and has made me who I am today.
I have been playing sports (one or the other) since my 6th grade and have been able to realise its true potential in terms of keeping you fit while enjoying the journey throughout. This is the gap that traditional gym based fitness achieves rarely. I, having tried it myself as well as looking at my friends have realised that it is really tough to keep yourself motivated to go to gym regularly because the feeling itself gives a pain in the back. This feeling, however, is pretty low when it comes to sports. And if are participating in any tournaments, that feeling of pain gets replaced by the motivation and competitive spirit to perform our best in the tournament.
However, ab job ke saath sports kaha hi ho pata h? says that old body mindset from within. That is what needs to be changed. If you see, the same amount of time that you prefer to reserve for gym, in that same time, good amount of sports training can be done.
And the main advantage of sports is that it improves your health from all aspects of physical, mental and social wellness point of view. It not just encompasses the skills of a particular sports but also includes weight training and mental preparation too.
Just jotting down the differences to summarise this blog. Will keep updating this with new observations regularly.
